Christmas 2009

Veronika was amazed by this thing called Christmas. It was truly a blessing to see her joy. She has never experienced anything like it.

We were at home for Christmas morning, it is very important to me to wake up Christmas morning at our own home. Then we went to Ben's parents to open presents with them, Ben's sisters and families. Late afternoon we headed for Washington to be with my family. We stayed in Washington for a couple days. I was a little worried about how Veronika would handle so many people wanting to meet her. She did fine, like always. She is a happy girl.

Unlike every other time in our lives...I don't go camera crazy at Christmas. I would much rather experience the joy of the holiday with my own eyes instead of through the lens of my camera. Here are the few photo that I did take.

Veronika got a bike from Grandpa and Grandma Knerr. Had to try it out even though it was super cold outside

Lots of Bubbles - what girl wouldn't enjoy this??

Last Christmas we went bowling the day after Christmas. The kids had so much fun, we did it again this year.

I thought this was a good photo of my nephew and his mom bowling
